Michele began her professional real estate journey at Fiori Realty as a licensed real estate salesperson in 1982.  During her tenure, she wrote a 6-week sales training course solicited by Century21, was promoted to sales and training manager and supervised two branch offices until her Broker’s health issues forced the closure and sale of the agency.

Since that time, Michele has worked 15+ years in the mortgage banking industry, as a First Time Homebuyer program manager for a not-for-profit in Broome and Chenango counties and served as the Family Selection Coordinator for Broome County Habitat for Humanity.  She joined Yaman Real Estate in January of 2025 in the Whitney Point branch office.

Michele is certified as a Foreclosure Mitigation and Prevention Specialist through NeighborWorks America and is a Short Sale Specialist.  In addition to teaching homeownership education at the Binghamton Homeownership Academy, she wrote a First Time Homebuyer Specialist course which was approved by NYS for continuing education with 9 credit hours.

Michele’s personal mission statement is Relationship Before Reward.  She works with honesty, integrity, and a code of personal ethics and strives to put others’ welfare and needs, whether as colleagues or customers first.  Michele also believes in being a team player and enjoys the camaraderie of her colleagues in the agency as well as mentoring and teaching.

Outside of her professional life, Michele enjoys her family’s summer home on Sandy Pond, Lake Ontario, campfires, boating and the beach, which helps to provide a balanced approach to work and life. She and her husband of 33 years share 5 children and 5 grandchildren, 6 rescue cats and 1 rescue dog.
